Sydney Agriculture

Agriculture around Sydney extends well beyond the metropolitan centre, linking working farms and orchards in Western Sydney, the Hawkesbury and the south-west with wholesale nurseries, research facilities, veterinary care and land-management advice. The directory below highlights producers and agricultural services with documented roles across Greater Sydney, from eggs and mushrooms to citrus, native plants, livestock research and practical support for small farms.

These enterprises serve different parts of the production chain. Some sell directly to trade customers or wholesale buyers, while others provide specialist plant material, farm-based research, veterinary services or advice for landholders.
